What We Do in the
Greater Los Angeles Area
Maison de Music Foundation was born out of a simple but urgent need: as music programs disappeared from schools, too many families could no longer afford private music education. What began as a vision through our music school, La Voix Studio, quickly grew into a mission to make the arts accessible to all. In 2010, we awarded our first scholarships to students in need, and since then have proudly granted more than 500 scholarships, providing lessons and opportunities to perform in professional settings.
Founded as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2019, Maison de Music Foundation continues to expand this mission by offering scholarships and workshops to ensure that no student is left behind. With the expertise of La Voix Studio’s instructors and the support of our community, we create opportunities that nurture talent, confidence, and creativity.
To sustain our programs, we host vibrant fundraising events that bring people together in celebration of the arts. From annual themed showcases to dinner concerts, karaoke nights, and songwriter spotlights, these performances allow students to share the stage with professional musicians, building skills and unforgettable experiences along the way.
Today, we remain dedicated to breaking down financial and social barriers in arts education while inspiring the next generation of musicians and artists. Together, with our students, families, and supporters, we are building a stronger community through the transformative power of music. We're proud to see how far we've come and excited to see how far we'll go. If you're interested in more information, please feel free to contact us.

What Makes us Unique
Our approach to nonprofit work is shaped by the dedication and expertise of our Board of Directors, including Shoshana Payne Phillips and Charles Eugene, with the support of leaders such as Salem Dasmal (former CEO of Dubai Land). All of us are proud USC alumni with Master’s degrees in Public Administration, where our studies of nonprofit organizations inspired the vision that became Maison de Music Foundation.
But what truly sets us apart is the way we connect with our students. We are more than a music and scholarship program—we are mentors, guides, and champions. Our accomplished coaches take the time to know each student personally, tailoring lessons to foster growth, confidence, and self-expression. Beyond technique, we emphasize well-being, self-esteem, and the joy of artistic discovery.
For us, the greatest achievement is not only watching students refine their talent, but also seeing them grow into confident, creative individuals who carry the lessons of music into every aspect of life.

Our Vision Ahead
Our fundraising goals are centered on expanding access and creating a true one-stop hub for music and the arts. With community support, we supply students with the instruments they need, provide scholarships to ease financial barriers, and offer transportation assistance so no student is left behind. Each year, our goal is to award at least 20 new scholarships, opening doors for more young artists to pursue their dreams. We are equally committed to creating opportunities for students to perform in professional settings that build confidence and lasting experience. Looking forward, we envision expanding into a larger facility with dedicated classrooms, recording studios, rehearsal spaces, and even a performance theater—an inspiring home where creativity, learning, and artistry can thrive under one roof.
